Keyboards, Samplers and Programming

The main keyboard at Alchemy is an Alesis Q8, which has 88 semi-weighted keys and over 300 hundred onboard sounds - mostly sample based. For players who like a little bit of the piano feel. When old school analog is more your style, we have the Roland Gaia which features the D Beam making it incredibly expressive. Very cool synth sounds and filter effects with deep anolog bass sounds.

The Recording Process

With keyboards the first step is capturing your performance with MIDI. Once this happens we can fix any problems, and massage or tweak the recording until it is as good as possible. Then you can assign any sound , or layer a few sounds. This make it easy to get a sound that really works for your song and vibe.

Samplers and Software

Whether its a Bosendorf concert grand piano, incredibly realistic string or horn sounds, or some banging drum samples we have you covered. Experts at utilizing the latest technology, Alchemy Studios can get the quality sounds you need to compete and impress. One of the sample sets we have available is from the famous east west studios (pictured below) who have been nominated for an amazing 171 grammys
